Review

Catherine Bybee is a goddess when it comes to writing romance novels! Her books have the perfect balance of sex, sweetness, tension, drama, and action. Her plots are always perfectly paced and satisfyingly complete. Treasured by Thursday is the beautiful finishing touch of icing on the cake that is the Weekday Brides series.

I adored Gabi and Hunter’s story. Having read about the horrors of Gabi’s past in the previous book, I’m so happy that she gets to find a love to last a lifetime. Hunter’s transformation from jerk blackmailer to caring spouse was fun to watch and had me swooning! Once the sparks start flying, there is no way to keep Gabi and Hunter apart.

The drama, mystery, and action scenes made this book stand out among its peers. I couldn’t put this book down, which is due to Bybee’s amazing writing and plotting. I lost sleep, but it was totally worth it!

I’ve always thought the idea behind Alliance was fantastic. Having an agency marry off people for a paycheck is crazy yet very fun to read about it! By linking each book and wonderful woman to Alliance, an unbreakable bond is formed that allows us to catch up with these ladies in each book. I had such a blast following the lives of each Alliance member and am sad to see the Weekday Brides Series go. However, Treasured by Thursday was a wonderful way to top such an awesome romance series.
