Happy Hallo-Wine!

Happy Hallo-wine, my book and wine lovers! I decided for this dark holiday that I would re-read a spooktacular book to fit the season. I couldn’t help myself so I grabbed J.R. Ward’s Dark Lover, the first book in her Black Dagger Brotherhood series (there are a TON of books in this series and I’m totally sucked in and have to read them all again!). And of course Vampire Cabernet Sauvignon makes the perfect pairing! This wine is absolutely delicious with blackberry and dark cherry aromas. The oakiness is spot on and pairs well with…all the Halloween candy I may or may not be eating. 😉

With a book in one hand, a glass of wine in the other, and maybe a bowl of candy that didn’t make it to the trick-or-treaters next to me, I am in vampire bliss!

Catherine Bybee is a goddess when it comes to writing romance novels! Her books have the perfect balance of sex, sweetness, tension, drama, and action. Her plots are always perfectly paced and satisfyingly complete. Treasured by Thursday is the beautiful finishing touch of icing on the cake that is the Weekday Brides series.

I adore Caisey Quinn and her country music themed books. Girl With Guitar – I absolutely fell in love with this one! Quinn’s characters and story line are flawless! I love Kylie’s sassiness and how her compassion for making others see their potential and worth fits so well into Trace’s tumultuous life. Trace is an ass BUT he is redeemable. Kylie is the answer. She’s the one person who can make him truly see that he is worth more than he thinks.

Wino Wednesday – Jealous Bitch

OK, it has been awhile since I last posted on my favorite day of the week. But I am back on the blogging grind and so happy to give you yet another wonderful Wino Wednesday! Yay! Today I am pairing the delicious Jealous Bitch Cabernet Sauvignon with Aurora Rose Reynolds‘ Until Lilly.

Jealous Bitch Cabernet is a dry red varietal wine with lush flavors of dark red berries and the perfect hint of chocolate to satisfy your taste buds.
