I adore each and every book Elle Kennedy comes out with. Every time I pick up one of her books I’m always surprised that I love it even more than the book before. She continuously gives us fantastic characters in seamless stories and yet tops herself each and every time.

With the hot sex aside, the plot goes beyond tame with the witty, flirty and sometimes goofy banter between Anna and Drew. I was blushing and laughing right along with them through their antics and at times awkward moments. I thoroughly enjoyed reading their story. I really appreciated how complete the story felt. S.E. Hall gets me every time! Each book of hers has absolutely captivated me and Emerge is no different! I could not put this book down, not for food and not for life. Hall has this way of writing a book that makes it seem like the story is unfolding right before your eyes. If not before your eyes, then through your eyes because she makes you feel each and every emotion that her characters feel.

Review

This is the first book I read by Kristen Callihan and it made me add her other books to my TBR list immediately.

Within the first chapter, I found myself sucked back into undergrad right alongside Anna and Drew. Their immediate connection made for sexual tension from the very beginning. Boarded by Love is the first book I have read by Toni Aleo. I am so absolutely happy that I stumbled upon this book because it was absolutely fantastic. Toni has been permanently added to my must read list of authors! I won’t lie, I’m doing a happy dance right now as I’m typing this. I love finding new authors who not only tell great stories but can write in such a way as to provoke laughter, tears, and hot flashes (the emotional trifecta of a great romance writer!).
